Boro pullover shirt 残菊-Zangiku
Boro pullover shirt 残菊-Zangiku
This pullover shirt is reconstructed from Japanese kimono fabrics dating back to the 1920s–1930s, many of which were traditionally indigo-dyed.
The fabric is remarkably durable, while still retaining the natural softness of cotton.
残菊-Zangiku (Lingering Chrysanthemum)
In Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of longevity and protection. The sashiko stitching echoes this tradition, carrying quiet wishes for enduring life.
