Japan Boro sashiko second jacket

This is a Rifatto original jacket, crafted from patchworked vintage Japanese textiles and finished with sashiko stitching and a unique aging process.

Approximately 150 to 200 pieces of antique fabric are carefully layered and stitched together, creating a rich surface that embodies the quiet beauty of boro—a tradition rooted in repair, reuse, and time.

Through a special finishing process, the fabric develops a worn, textured character, enhancing its depth and individuality.

Each piece takes around 60 hours to complete, resulting in a limited production garment made with exceptional care and attention to detail.

[Fabric and Care]

The jacket has already passed a professional washing test.
It can be washed at home using a dry-clean or wool cycle.

100% cotton.
Tumble drying is possible on low heat (40–50°C), though natural drying is recommended.
