Rifatto Original Boro Collection

Each piece in the Boro Collection is crafted from 150–200 fragments of Japanese denim and vintage textiles. Through sashiko stitching and Rifatto’s original abrasion technique, the hidden layers beneath the surface are revealed, bringing forth the quiet, textured beauty of boro.

At Rifatto, we intentionally avoid mass-produced modern fabrics whenever possible. Instead, we work with materials that have been preserved, worn, and valued over time, embracing the philosophy of traditional boro.

By reimagining what already exists and honoring materials passed down through generations, we seek to carry their stories forward into the future.
